The Session
The core leadership of our congregation is found in individuals appointed to term eldership. When our elders meet together they form the Session. Our Session works hard to manage day-to-day affairs of the church as well as lead the congregation forward.
Our current members of Session are:
Sharene Cooper, Mary Lea Craig, Barb Hacker, Nancy Hargrave, Cathie Sindall
Treasurer:
Jim Whittier
Our Treasurer since 2016, Jim Whittier is a retired Chartered Accountant. He is also a sustaining Elder.
Jim lives in Penetanguishene with his wife Cathie Sindall. They have two adult daughters.
Office Administrator:
Amanda Richardson
Our Office Administrator, Amanda Richardson, keeps the church business running like clockwork. She is friendly and committed to juggling the volunteers, keeping schedules, managing communications and organizing the finances. Her enthusiasm is contagious! At this time, she is the friendly backbone of the church. Drop in to meet her and find out how to get involved at Knox. She can take care of the details, so you can focus on how you want to be connected at Knox!
Website Admin/Social Media Manager:
Daniel Lucas
Daniel has been a professional graphic and website designer under the freelance brand Daniel Lucas Designs since 2014, where he has worked to create websites, logos, advertising graphics, and more for both local and international businesses. Daniel is very excited to be on the Knox team and to share updates with you all here on our new website, and through our Facebook page!
Custodian:
Larry Friel
When you enter a clean building on clear and salted walkways during the week or on Sunday morning you have this guy right here to thank. This is our hard working custodian Larry Friel and he makes sure that you can enjoy all the ministries of the church in safety. He works weekends and early mornings when the snow falls. So if you see him please give him a big thumbs up and a hearty thank you.
