Causes We Care About

Knox Church is a strong supporter of Life4Kids Canada, who works in big ways to rescue and nurture abandoned boys in Nairobi, Kenya. They work to provide for their emotional, physical, social, and educational needs; and further help by providing a loving and nurturing home conducive to personal growth.

Presbyterians Sharing is the national church fund that supports mission and ministry in Canada and around the world. Through Presbyterians Sharing, we share in a wide range of ministries such as:

  • facilitate the development of new ministries

  • help congregations navigate challenging times

  • equip leaders to serve the church around the world

  • speak for those who have been silenced and marginalized

  • fight racism and discrimination

  • provide spaces for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to walk together on a journey of healing and reconciliation

Presbyterian World Service & Development is the development, relief, and refugee sponsorship agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Through PWS&D, we respond internationally to:

  • ensure families have more and better food to eat

  • provide aid to those fleeing conflict and disaster

  • increase access to water, sanitation and health

  • promote education and economic empowerment

  • protect refugees and human rights

PWS&D works with local partners overseas, through membership in ecumenical organizations like Canadian Foodgrains Bank and ACT Alliance, and with the support of the Canadian government for a sustainable, compassionate and just world.
