Accessibility At Knox
Here at Knox we aim to make our church as accessible as possible.
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act came into effect on January 1, 2025. Its goal is to help identify, remove, and prevent barriers by developing, implementing, and enforcing accessibility standards.
At Knox Church, we are committed to providing a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for all worshipers, visitors, volunteers, and employees.
We welcome people with service dogs, and we have a lift elevator that can be used to transport an individual from the ground floor entry level to the sanctuary level. Unfortunately, the lift does not reach the basement level where the hall and kitchen are located. Our building has accessible washrooms on the ground level, and our sanctuary has a large TV screen, is well lit, and the pastor uses a microphone.
